Aaliyah Burgess-Richburg is a community builder, speaker, educator, and founder of The Very Intentional Mama. With a master’s degree in Youth Development Leadership and over eight years of experience across classrooms, virtual learning, museums, and afterschool programs, Aaliyah has turned her passion for children’s emotional well-being into a movement that starts with mamas.
Through community-building, engaging challenges, educational resources, and her signature “healing through intention” approach, she helps women rewrite generational patterns and raise emotionally grounded children without sacrificing their own identity, peace, or purpose. Her work sits at the intersection of trauma-informed practice, child development, and real-life motherhood.
Aaliyah is the creative force behind the Healing Takes a Village Summit, the I Am Affirmation Keychains, and The Very Intentional Mama Village - a supportive space for moms who are ready to live healed and parent whole.
When she's not equipping families with tools for transformation, you can find her exploring the outdoors, diving into new books, or soaking up the laughter and love of the family she's intentionally building every day.
